100% Active 1000CS Food Grade polydimethyl siloxane polymer. Meets the requirements of 21 CFR Section 173.340. A yearly Food Safety audit is conducted by NSF in certain geographic regions using the Supplier Assurance – Food Safety Expectations and Criteria for Food Processing Facilities audit process.
USES:
- Sealing and Gasketing: High-viscosity sealing and gasketing applications, such as automotive and industrial gaskets.
- Lubrication: High-viscosity lubrication for large gears, bearings, and mechanical components.
- Damping and Vibration Control: Vibration damping and shock absorption in heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
- Hydraulic Fluids: High-viscosity hydraulic fluid for systems requiring a slow and controlled movement.
- Grease Replacement: Replacement for grease in applications where a more fluid lubricant is needed.
- Textile and Fiber Processing: Lubrication and finishing agent for textiles and fibers.
- Plastic and Polymer Processing: Release agent and lubricant for plastic and polymer processing.
- Marine and Industrial Coatings: Protective coating for marine and industrial applications.

These applications benefit from the fluid's high viscosity, thermal stability, and non-reactive properties. Note that 1000 cSt silicone fluid is quite thick, so it's often used in applications where a very high-viscosity fluid is required.
